What is HSIS?
Mississippi State University High School Independent Study offers instruction in a wide variety of subject areas that can be applied to a diploma or used in a home school setting.¹
Independent Study provides opportunities for students to learn at their own pace, gain high school credit, and enjoy positive learning experiences.
Self-motivation, a conscientious effort, and self-discipline are required.
¹The NCAA will no longer recognize Mississippi State University High School Independent Study Courses for college athletic eligibility requirements.
