Our professional coordination staff can assist in the development and administration of conferences, professional development programs (online and face to face), summer camps, sports clinics, personal enrichment classes, in-service training sessions, exhibitions and trade shows, and corporate events and retreats. What coordination services do you offer?
Continuing Education offers a wide range of services designed to help ensure the success of your event. Please visit our services page for more information. How much will it cost for Continuing Education to coordinate my event?
Our costs are based solely on the services our clients request. To find out what it will cost for CCE to assist in the coordination of your event please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a time to discuss your specific needs so we can provide you with a price quote.
Can you provide on-site registration and event services?
We have trained staff that can handle all your on-site registration needs. As part of this service we are equipped to do on-site printing, collect payments, provide receipts, nametags, and distribute participant materials. If needed, we can also serve as a liaison on your behalf during the course of an event to ensure event activities are handled properly. This includes managing room setups, AV needs, and displaying event signage.
Do you offer online registration services?
Yes, we provide online registration services. All of our online registration pages can be tailored to suit your event needs. Our system also allows for secure online credit card payments and can generate customized event receipts and confirmations for participants.
Does Mississippi State University (MSU) have a conference center?
Yes, there is a conference center located at our Meridian Campus known as the Riley Center. In addition to the Riley Center, the main MSU campus has several very nice meeting facilities that can be utilized to host conferences and large meetings. The University also offers an array of resources to groups wishing to host events on campus including; shuttle service, guest housing, catering services, and recreational facilities. Here are some of the meeting facilities available to those looking to host an event on the MSU campus: Hunter Henry Center, The Colvard Student Union, and the Bost Conference Center.
What does “One Stop One Shop Service” mean?
Our goal is to make hosting events as easy as possible for our clients. That is why we offer our “One Stop One Shop Service”. This means that not only can we handle all the ins and outs of coordinating your event; we can also pay all your event’s contractual and service expenses so you only have to pay one bill to us at the end of your event. Within 30 days of an event we provide our clients a detailed financial accounting of all event related income collected and expenses paid.
Do you coordinate non-MSU affiliated events?
Yes, MSU’s Continuing Education Unit coordinates events for outside groups as well as MSU departments and organizations. Our clients include governmental agencies, private businesses, and civic organizations. Non-MSU groups wishing to have their event on the MSU campus MUST have the proper approvals.
Do you coordinate events that are not on MSU’s campus?
Yes, we can coordinate events anywhere within the state, region, or country.
